Amazon Partners with Luxury Secondhand Fashion Platform

The global e-commerce powerhouse Amazon is making significant strides in Europe’s second-hand fashion market by teaming up with the luxury resale platform Hardly Ever Worn It.

Now, patrons in the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, and Italy have the opportunity to explore and buy pre-owned high-end fashion items via Amazon’s Luxury Stores.

The virtual marketplace has been a renowned platform for the trade of pre-owned and refurbished items for some time now, with their second-hand sales in Europe last year rocketing past the 1 billion euro mark.

Continuing this momentum, Amazon is now extending its Luxury store offerings in Europe to include a variety of pre-owned items from top-notch fashion brands.

Partnering with Resale Platform

In this venture, Amazon has teamed up with Hardly Ever Worn It, a family-owned luxury resale website. This collaboration will streamline the product screening process, ensuring the high-quality standard of all items. The initiative is now open to shoppers in Spain, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom.

The storefront offers a wide range of clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry, and watches from luxury brands. Furthermore, Hardly Ever Worn It’s storefront has expanded its repertoire to include women’s ready-to-wear items, thereby granting the resale platform a broader reach and providing Amazon customers with a wider selection of secondhand items.
