Senior Account Manager – Amazon & Marketplaces

Deadline: 07/08/2026
Location: Melbourne (Richmond), Gold Coast or Brisbane. Hybrid
Hours: Full Time
Time Zone: Australian Business Hours (AEST overlap)

About Us

TWENTY TWENTY is Australia’s specialist Amazon and marketplace agency, managing Amazon AU, US, and UK accounts for Australian and international brands across supplements, kitchenware, sporting goods, and consumer electronics. We are a Preferred Amazon Solutions and Ads Partner with 15 plus retail media specialists. As we grow, we are hiring an experienced account manager to own a portfolio of client relationships, including new brands launching on Amazon AU.

Role overview

You will be the day-to-day contact for 6 to 8 Amazon client accounts, owning their monthly performance presentations, strategic roadmaps, and expansion plans. A senior operations lead runs reporting, follow-ups, and task management, and a retail team executes listings, cases, and uploads, so your time goes into strategy and relationships, not admin. As your portfolio establishes, the role grows into agency operations ownership.

Key responsibilities

  • Client strategy and growth
    • Own launch strategy for new-to-Amazon brands: pricing, creative direction, hero image and A+ content strategy, and realistic target setting
    • Deliver proactive recommendations: SEO, creative, pricing, Vine, virtual bundles, and marketplace expansion (AU to US and UK)
  • Client relationships
    • Present monthly analysis, results, and strategic roadmaps to clients
    • Own escalations and sensitive conversations. When a launch tracks behind forecast, you own the conversation and the plan.
  • Event and seasonal planning
    • Map Prime Day, EOFY, and seasonal peaks 6 to 8 weeks ahead across inventory, deals, and listing updates
  • Collaboration
    • Direct the operations lead and retail team on execution priorities
    • Work with the ads team on Sponsored Ads and DSP alignment

We’re looking for

  • Experience: 3 plus years managing Amazon accounts (agency or in-house) with hands-on Seller Central knowledge. Vendor Central is a plus.
  • Client-facing track record: you have presented monthly results, defended a strategy, and kept a client through a rough quarter
  • Commercial thinking: you talk revenue, margin, and category share, not just clicks
  • Presentation and data confidence: you build and present client decks, and pricing models, forecasts, and deal planning are weekly work for you
  • Organised and self-directed: you run your book without being chased
  • Nice to have: broader ecommerce experience (DTC, Shopify, brand-side digital), other marketplaces (The Iconic, eBay, Kogan, TikTok Shop, or international platforms), and tools like Helium 10 or Merchant Spring

What we offer

  • $85,000 to $100,000 + super, depending on experience
  • Performance bonuses on individual and agency results.
  • Melbourne (Richmond), Gold Coast (Burleigh Heads), or Brisbane, with hybrid working
  • A genuine seat at the table in a growing specialist agency, with direct access to the founder and senior team
  • Clear growth path into agency operations ownership
