Leading Australian Amazon and marketplace agency, TWENTY TWENTY has recruited seasoned sales and account manager, Ryan Tredinnick as Marketplace Growth Manager, based at the business’ Gold Coast office.
Tredinnick, who previously held a role as eCommerce Category Manager at Westfield Direct will drive new business acquisition, focusing on Brisbane and Gold Coast markets, and manage client relationships in the newly created role.
In his 18 months with Scentre Group – owner and operator of Westfield in Australia and New Zealand, Tredinnick consistently ranked #1in sales in the most profitable category on Westfield Direct, and generated over 40% of the revenue in his team.
Collaborating with over 100 retailers at Westfield Direct, some of whom were expanding into digital sales channels for the first time, Tredinnick’s client management experience will be invaluable for TWENTY TWENTY’s next period of growth.
“I’m incredibly excited to be part of one of Australia’s leading Amazon and marketplace agencies, and support the next phase of growth for TWENTY TWENTY,” Tredinnick said.
“TWENTY TWENTY has a reputation as a results driven agency with marketplace experts at the helm, and I look forward to helping our new and existing clients to implement strategies that allow their products to be seen by millions of customers on both Amazon and other marketplaces.”
Martin Helleborg, Managing Director of TWENTY TWENTY welcomed Tredinnick’s appointment to support the sustained growth of the business, with a focus on the burgeoning market of South-East Queensland, where earlier this year Amazon launched one-day delivery in Brisbane.
“Ryan’s credentials and understanding of Australian eCommerce marketplaces, complemented by his drive to succeed is what we were looking for in our team. We’re excited for him to contribute to our clients’ growth, as well as TWENTY TWENTY’s,” Helleborg said.
“With Amazon being the marketplace of choice for Australian shoppers, we’re seeing an influx of legacy brands now turning to the marketplace to reach new audiences, which is a journey we love guiding them on.”
Last year, Australians spent $63.6 billion online, with 8 in 10 Australian households shopping online in 2023 – an increase of 1.4% year-on-year to 9.5 million households who received a parcel, as reported in Australia Post’s 2024 Inside Australian Online Shopping Report.
The report also found that 1 in 7 Australian households made weekly online purchases, and 5.6 million households purchase online every month.
“The steady growth of online retail in Australia, and Amazon’s rapid rise on our shores with its $15 billion investment in Australia since 2011, and innovation in advertising capabilities leads us to exciting times for both brands and shoppers,” Helleborg said.
